Designed for Mums who want to use the weight of their baby in a baby carrier to create resistance and extra weight while exercising. This class is designed to help you to tone up, lose weight, and improve your cardiovascular fitness, core strength, agility and flexibility and most importantly, strengthen your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles post birth. Each session is power packed full of excises movements with and without your baby on board to assist you to gain the most from your workout.

Conditions for entry:

  • You must have the correct baby carrier
  • Baby carriers are available for Hire at $5 per class
  • A Baby carrier can hold a baby up to 20kg in weight
  • You can start the class around the 4-8 week post-partum period – longer if you have had a caesarean
  • You must fill in a Pre-Exercise Questionnaire prior to joining the first session
  • Please allow time before your first session to talk with the instructor about any medical conditions, injuries or physical problems you have post birth
  • Your baby must be in the M position facing your body when exercising
  • The instructor will make sure you are wearing your baby correctly before starting the class
  • Your baby should be dressed lightly as they too are going to feel your body heat as you sweat it out

What you need to bring:

  • Water bottle
  • A towel for wiping your sweat and/or laying on
  • Nappy bag for bub
  • A baby carrier (if you have one)
  • A change of clothes for your baby
